a little behind the scene process…
a little behind the scenes on this weeks girl friday. the initial sketch was done digitally which is something i don’t normally do, but i was procrastinating, inspiration struck and the tablet was right there. i then proceeded to print out the sketch and light boxed it and tightened the pencils. following which i inked it with a sable brush. i feel i lost a little bit of the nuances in the face when inking as i kept fiddling with the mouth and eyes. but c’est la vie…
many more opportunities to get it right.
