things are trekking along at a nice steady pace. last week i enjoyed a week off as i travelled away with a seductive vixen to parts unknown for a birthday holiday getaway. but now it’s back to the drawing board! on the table we have the green river killer (for dark horse comics) which i have laid out about 50 pages of, pencilled 15 or so and inked about 4. so we’re off to a nice start. it being a long term project though i have to intersperse other work to keep the bill collectors happy. so with that in mind, previous to last week i contributed 6 pages to issue 12 of wildstorm’s wildcats of which i’ll showcase when i can (i’m thinking next update!) and this week i’m doodling up a part 1 of  two 8 page chapters relating to marvel’s war of kings summer crossover story line. my little featurette stars lilandra of the shi’ar empire and will be part of an online segment relating to the bigger story. i get to draw the brood so i’m happy!

beyond that kukuburi is rolling along and i’ve mapped out the current story arc. what i tentatively refer to chapter 1 of 3, which will clock in to about, or close to, 200 pages! i’ve already begun plotting chapters two and three… things are coming together quite nicely. butternutsquash which has been on hiatus for far too long shall be returning most likely at the end of summer. i will post an exact date as soon as rob and i nail one down.
